 1. I selected Shein, a fast-fashion e-commerce retailer that has gained a lot of popularity with consumers over the last three years. Although they are one of the most successful companies in the fast fashion realm, people on social media aren't speaking too positively on the company due to their controversies in the media for promoting overconsumption, stealing designs from small brands and designers, and their mistreatment of their factory employees and poor working conditions. I am interested to see how they are addressing the controversies they have faced over these last years, and if they have actually made an effort to correct these issues.  2.  The article that I chose for this assignment is “The Top 5 Marketing Challenges Expected Globally in 2024, and How To Overcome Them” and “How TikTok Changed PR” because I wanted to learn more about what current challenges the marketing industry faces. Over the past year, there has been enormous growth with AI that resulted in massive shifts across the marketing industry. Along with this, there has been a large shift in how content ranks on search engines due to Google’s new EEAT search ranking factors.   Hi everyone! My name is Britney Bien and I am a multi-creative specializing in professional nail services, creative direction, content creation, graphic design, fashion styling, and personal shopping. I am currently majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing. I currently have 2+ years of experience working in fashion through styling, digital content creation for brands/events, creative direction for photoshoots, and luxury personal shopping.
